Q. A recent audit has resulted in a requirement to obtain signed bill of ladings/shipping documents to substantiate customer invoicing/revenue recognition when suppliers drop ship orders directly to a customer. The documentation has to be easily accessed and ideally attached to transactions in the SAP system. AP is being asked to turn off automation to auto-post invoices that apply to drop ship orders and validate that each PO has a signed bill of lading or shipping document to confirm delivery…
